I’m a big fan of the band Coheed and Cambria and I was happy to see that they’re using their powers for good.
With the upcoming release of their new CD, No World For Tomorrow, Coheed and Cambria have teamed up with the New York chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and will perform on October 19th (I know - that’s tomorrow - Hurry up and take off work!) at the Highline Ballroom. This show is billed as “A Concert to end Alzheimer’s” and is said to include ’some rare surprises’.
Coheed’s new album is due for release on October 23rd with a dedication to ‘Antonia Cristiano, vocalist/guitarist Claudio Sanchez’ aunt, whose life was claimed last year by Alzheimer’s’.

As excited as I am for the new album, I’m equally thrilled to see one of my favorite bands do so with meaning. When I become famous I’ll share my glory with a cause - Probably Organ Donation or the Ronald McDonald House… Both of which have played a part in my life. Make me famous if you want me to elaborate
