We were relaxing on the couch watching TV on Friday night and the mood was right… plus the ring was burning a hole in my pocket… I called Dylan over, her 8 year old son, and asked how he would feel if I asked his mommy to marry me. He was excited… so I pulled the ring out and gave it to her. She immediately put it on and gleamed a “yes”. No one-knee proposal on the top of the Empire State Building on midnight of a full moon… but it came off as spontaneous nonetheless. Bottom line is that she said YES! She called her mom to tell her who said “I know!!” and shared in her excitement. She was in it with me the whole time since I asked permission to have her hand.
Well the end of this story is yet to be written… but I’ve penciled in “…and they lived happily ever after”.

This show is billed as “A Concert to end Alzheimer’s” and is said to include ’some rare surprises’.

I finally received my first issue of
